Great teams don't happen by accident
Organisational performance hinges on collective team performance. Unfortunately, the natural state of a team is dysfunction. To avoid this fate teams need to systematically work on the team, not just work as a team.
Over the past decade plus, Shaun Kenny and Michelle Rushton (co-founders of the Influence Engine platform) have worked with hundreds of teams and collected thousands of team data points. From this we've learned: to improve team performance you need to deepen Relationships (build trust, cultivate candour) and drive Results (get aligned, execute together).
The Building Extraordinary Teams Diagnostic is like a 360 on the team itself where every team member, including the team leader, answers the questions. The output is a collective team profile. This shared starting point is what makes the conversations that follow productive: everyone is working from the same evidence, not just their own perspective.

Each team profile is debriefed by either Shaun Kenny or Michelle Rushton in a group workshop setting, usually a team offsite.
Shaun and Michelle are co-founders of the Influence Engine platform and the leadership consultancy People of Influence. For over sixteen years, they have been working closely with executives and their teams in the trenches (ahem, boardrooms), helping them solve their most difficult leadership challenges. They have worked across the globe with many of the world's great companies.
This diagnostic is perfect for a team offsite and can be paired with People of Influence workshops such as the Building Extraordinary Teams workshop, Cultivating Compassionate Candour and the facilitation of team alignment sessions. If you want to supercharge the ROI of this diagnostic, pairing it with the live facilitation and coaching is a must.
There are actually four different Building Extraordinary Teams questionnaires depending on the type of team it is for. Each questionnaire shares 80% of the same universally applicable questions and 20% which are tailored to that specific team type.
Influence Engine is the platform for diagnostics, dashboards, roadmaps and AI insights.
